The City of Gentle People

Dumaguete Belfry
Dumaguete  they called  ”The City of Gentle People’

From Dumaguete airport can ride the Multicab going to Sibulan port for 10 pesos fare around 10-15 minutes. If you want to ride the ferry going to Cebu. Going to Rizal boulevard and Dumaguete Belfry its the same amount you pay in multi-cab or tricycle. Dumaguete I love the place not really crowded than in Manila. I saw many expats living there. My wish I live there in future. I meet some people the way they talk to me is really gentle.

What is gentle?

Gentle is having a mild or kindly nature or character, soft or temperate; mild; moderate. Gentleness is considered to play a very important role in life.

Quotes that inspired Joy’s Travel:

“Anybody can become angry — that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way — that is not within everybody’s power and is not easy.” Aristotle

It’s easy to get angry but I need to control myself and keep calm.

“Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.” ― Aristotle

Waiting is a little bit bitter or tired but the result of that is sweet. I’m practicing to wait for the right time and also I do what I need to do without wasting time. I know so bored to wait and so slow but there’s a sweet fruit.

“Happiness depends upon ourselves.” ― Aristotle

It depends on me if I choose happiness or madness, the best thing for me is to become happy, I don’t like wasting time to get bitter. Life is so short and be happy.

How about you?  Are you gentle or bitter? What do you want to choose?

Nothing is so strong as gentleness, nothing so gentle as real strength. Saint Francis de Sales

It is only imperfection that complains of what is imperfect. The more perfect we are the more gentle and quiet we become towards the defects of others. Joseph Addison

There is great force hidden in a gentle command. George Herbert

Strong characters are brought out by change of situation, and gentle ones by permanence. Jean Paul

“Sometimes its not the strength but gentleness that cracks the hardest shells.”

“whatever you do
be gentle with yourself.
you don’t just live
in this world
or your home
or your skin.
you also live
in someone’s eyes.”

“Sending love to all those who are trying their best to be nice and gentle despite being in the midst of negative as well as critical people…” ― Latika Teotia

Rizal Boulevard

“Stop overthinking. Stop second guessing yourself. Stop the self-sabotage! You must learn to trust yourself. If you’re having trouble, ask yourself if you’re acting from a place of love. If you are, then trust that because your intentions are pure it’s the right path. Learn to empower yourself. Celebrate your successes. Don’t focus on disappointments and failures. We all have them, but we can’t let those define us. Define yourself by your intent, no matter the outcome. Define yourself with love, by acting from a place of love. Don’t analyze and pick apart all that is good. Accept the compliment. Enjoy the moment. Don’t destroy it! Believe in yourself, believe in your goodness. Give an honest effort and then leave it in peace. Be gentle and kind to yourself. Remember, you deserve your own love.” ― Akiroq Brost
